This large painting was inspired by a visit to the Orkney Isles in May 2017, a family day out and picnic to the Brough of Birsay a local landmark on a lovely sunny may day
We were there on a family holiday with my Grandaughter and we were lucky to enjoy mostly fine sunny weather. But as we settled down to a picnic a shower squall made an appearence and sent everyone running for their cars.
To many, the day is ruined but to a painter it just became much more interesting

If the purchaser is local then the painting can be delivered with frame. Otherwise the canvas will be removed from its strecher bars and rolled before posting in a sturdy tube
